Peiling started dancing Hip Hop in 2002 while in Nanyang Technological University Modern Jazz Club. Following that, she successfully auditioned for a place in L.A. Dance Connectionfs Hip Hop Crew (now known as Phunk Patrol) in 2004, and subsequently, LADCfs Salsa Performance Company - Dragones Latinos, in 2005. Realising her passion in dance, she took up other dance styles in LADC, such as Jazz, Funk and Salsa, while training intensively under Lionel Araya. She has since completed a one year intensive scholarship programme (Janf06 - Janf07) with LADC, where she was appointed Dance Captain for the programme as well as for Phunk Patrol.
Over the years, Peiling has accumulated much performance and competition experiences in various events such as the recent 10th Los Angeles Salsa Congress (2008), Mediacorpfs mega event- Singapore Hits Awards 2007, THK Charity Show 2008, Overdrive 2006 , a hip hop dance competition organised by Esplanade, Suntec Dance Competition 2004 , The Big Groove (2006, 2007), Malaysia Salsa Festival (2006), Singapore Salsa Festival (2006), Renci Charity Show (2005), LADCfs Hope Street: Reconstructed (2005), Break It Down (2007) a scholarship graduation show produced by LADC, where she had choreographed a few hip hop items. Her teaching portfolio includes hip hop, jazz and salsa classes for both kids and adults at LADC, the Hollandse Club, Jazz Cats, Dance Arts and dance workshops for The Esplanade and various primary and secondary schools in Singapore.
