Dapheny began her dance training in Ballet at an early age and completed the Royal Academy of Dancing Grades and Majors Intermediate Examination.

Since joining the Diploma in Dance programme at LASALLE-SIA in July 2002 she has performed in all of its graduation productions. She was also selected to perform in other major productions featuring  international artists including Soiree by Caren Carino (USA) which placed 2nd in Ensemble in the Asia Pacific CSTD Competition; Friday Night by John Mead (USA) in the 5th Annual Contemporary Dance Festival (Singapore); Shutter by Jaime Redfern (Australia) for the World Dance Alliance Conference, Taipei;  Blue Carousel for Ah Hock and Peng Yu (Singapore), and the works of Gerard Mosterd (Amsterdam) and Natalie Weir (Australia) for Tabula Rasa, Singapore. She has also performed in fellow company member, Andy Cai’s ‘Out Of Shape’.

Her choreography to date includes works for a piano recital Romantic Expressions and for Anti-Drug 2005. Her leadership roles include president of the Anglo Chinese Junior College Dance Team, dance representative for the International Students’ Symposium, and company representative for LADC at Club Med Bintan. Dapheny graduated from LASALLE-SIA with a Diploma in Dance in 2005. She has been a member of LADC since 2003.
